What about the remaining portion of the Modoc Line? Has UP ever considered selling that off or at least leasing it out? I know the new operator of the Lakeview line and UP have an agreement to interchange at Perez, but I can't help but wonder why they wouldn't just let them operate the entire Modoc line and interchange at Klamath Falls. I'm surprised they've held onto it this long after tearing everything out south of Alutras.
