...if the original wreck was promptly reported by CHP to the railroad. Sometimes they don't call until the scene has been active for some time, as in "oh, right, railroad tracks..." Or was this just an unfortunate case where it happened so close to the time a train would come by that nobody had a chance to do anything about it?
