My route would not "take" any properties, because it would use the median and shoulder of the 118 and the ",dual use" rail road tunnel would be less than half as long as this proposal.
The proposed E-2 route out of the SFV would have so much higher costs, I have no idea if it would be a viable P-3 dual use toll road and rail tunnel.
This. E-2 route (on the Valley end) was nearly DOA before, when it was first proposed. So what other than the vastly increased and bloated costs for a much longer and costlier tunnel, not to mention the chance for more delays, bloated costs, and change orders, from stirring up the nimby hornet's nest, has caused Don Sepulveda's original, screw the residents, screw the costs to the taxpayers, route alternative to come back to life?
Still screwing the taxpayers at every turn....CHSRA.
