PS E-2 Also goes through the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument, my route misses it...

E-2 is now too far east and goes through the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. A number of folks lobbied very hard to allow for this and other easements through the Angeles National Forest, roughly west of the line of the 118, when the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument was created.

A "true" alternative extending from over where the 118 actually ends would avoid the National Monument altogether.

So now, it would appear that CHSRA has guaranteed years of billable hours at taxpayer expense, for the law firms under contract to CHSRA, for the litigation this issue will very likely generate...

As I said, the CGSRA, screwing the CA taxpayer, every step of the way...….
