to go electric for Smart would be a total waste of money...Look how long it would take to pay for its self...Smart is still fine tuning the railroad and the south end of the railroad still has to be completed and there are growing pains to get to Cloverdale..How long do you think it will take to pay for the electric operation on the SF-SJ route...todays system works, going over to juice to get a few more miles PH is not worth it.
