OCTA awards $220.5 million contract to build OC Streetcar

"construction expected to start this year"

OCTA spokesman Joel Zlotnik said construction of the 4.15-mile streetcar in Santa Ana and Garden Grove should start in late 2018.

The streetcar will make 10 stops in each direction and will connect the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center to Harbor Boulevard and Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove.
