From the facebook photos I see they have a Bullard Cut Master vertical boring machine, which should be very handy for steam locomotive work. The vertical boring machine was designed to replace the practice of bolting large parts to a lathe faceplate and Bullard was a leading mfr. of this type of machine.
Once ran a very large Bullard opposite of Mr. Dillard, who possessed for his craft an appropriate first name of Lathe. We always addressed each other formally as mister.
