If you're talking to the strike following "Hate Week," that was late August / early September. I know, because my fireman's class was pushed back til after it . . . so I drove up to southern British Columbia to visit CP's MLWs and CLCs - especially the C-liners. Would've stayed up there longer, but had to hi-tail it back for the class.
