UP tracks, highway, buried utilities at risk from 'mobile' geyser in Imperial County CA

This geyser has apparently been around for 65 years, but recently has been moving close to UP tracks and a nearby highway, plus buried utility lines.. The situation has got to the point where UP is the lead agency trying to stop this, and has drilled wells trying to dewater the geyser.

Apparently that has not worked as hoped, as UP is now building a shoofly track ...
