I'm a little puzzled why OERM does not do a little more to publicize completion of their FP45 restoration. A post on Rypn.org (
HERE) said there would be an unveiling this Saturday, October 6. But I see no mention of it yet on Facebook.
The Facebook page is definitely aimed at the fare-paying public. And that does make sense because that's how to make money. All Thomas, all the time.
But still, couldn't there be at least one mention about a major restoration reaching completion? Some of the paying public must be a little interested in trains beyond just Thomas.
Am I nuts or could there be a conspiracy by the museum's trolley guys to suppress diesel news? Maybe it's their revenge on General Motors for killing the streetcar? Ha ha ha...
I'm not a museum member, but love what they do. Just puzzled by the lack of news or publicity on some of their fine achievements. C'mon OERM, brag a little.
