I'm almost up to resigning from a local chapter of a professional organization where the chairman never seems to set a meeting date until 2 weeks before, at best (some have been less than 1 week). Then spams everybody with 3-4 email notices a day. Then wonders why attendance is light. The rest of us on the board try to set things up a little farther in advance, but The Boss can never make up his mind until it's almost too late. We've gotten lucky so far - have only blown a schedule once - but it's not a pleasant way to "do business." Same thing happening at OERM?
