In retrospect clearly extra lanes should have been added to the new eastern span. If nothing else for AC buses and even if only part of the way.

Pasting on extra complexity for alleged aesthetic reasons in the case of both the Bay Bridge and the TBT has proven problematical. Do you think MTC and SPUR have learned a lesson?
