Lawyers don't work that way
Per a proposition foolishly approved decades ago, CA gave a gift to shysters that keeps on giving.
It's called "Joint and several liability"
That means anybody involved in a situation, and everybody, will pay up, especially to shysters.
The question to be solved is who gets screwed for how much.
There of course is another factor always at work, the "Deep Pockets"
No matter whose fault, the deepest pocket is the primary target.
There's justice, and there's law, and there is money
Money always prevails.
And everybody involved 'lawyered up" from hour # 3
