You are right... half way up to 95... and a world of memories back from loading the OOverland Ltd on SP car ferry to Benecia in 1929 pretty exciting event.. watching them take up tracks of NWP through Forestville Station.. but as well, including first west coast fan trip $4 SP NCNG May 37 and all NC fan trips til early 40's . Last runs like Piedmont one block long franchise trolley.. about 15 present on a dismal day .. first day SP 10 Mole to Berkeley 12 cents.. last runs 14 car deadhead NWP el - Tiboron ferry - SN 1014 Pittsturg to SF - IER out Shattack which interestingly returned by way of Solono and 9th st... BRR UIC etc. Also first IER 11 cars from Dutton Ave over bridege.and subsequently first SN over bridge to Sacto.. Sometime hard to sleep remembering it all. Plus the host of once very close well known fellow fans now gone.. and mtgs in basement of Key Bldg Oakland or upstairs over the Pan Pacific locos stored in W. Oakland and 4th and Townsend Sat nite coach car meetings.. etc etc.. thanks again for inquiring.
