Redwood City train stations

Since maybe one out of 20 on this board might have some knowledge of the history of anything, I'll try for an answer. When did the Redwood City SP station move from the EAST side of the ROW to the WEST? The station I knew growing up in RC was on the WEST side. Apparently it burned down in 1979. It had been a replacement for one on the other side of the ROW, I'm just wondering when each was built. An article I read mentioned that it was built in 1907, but that would have been the one on the EAST side. Anyone clarify?
