But sometimes there are solutions. On Youtube there is video of a bike path that was laid out so that it crossed rail tracks at an acute angle. Someone set up a camera and got crash after crash at that spot. Then the city did something about it. The path was made to swerve to the right and then swung around to cross at right angles. End of problem.
