My uncle used to own that locomotive model. Timken used it to show off its roller bearings with the 1111. The model was sold with the 1111 to NP in 1930 or so. I used to play with (very gently) as a kid and it rolled with the touch of a finger. The model was complete but non-operational when my uncle had it. The gauge was around 6 inches. Presumably, one could get it running with some minor work. A few years ago, my uncle sold it to a rather rich collector. Does anyone know where the model is now?
