Kopp is right - no hero of mine - that this has been dumbed-down to nothing near what was promised to the Prop 1a voters: a state of the art uber-speed HSR point to point that would be competitive with fossil-fuel aircraft SF to LA.

Instead you have 3 regional "BART's": San Jose Area Rapid Transit; Fresno Area Rapid Transit; and Palmdale Area Rapid Transit connected by an exorbitant freight oriented alignment that is too steep for freight.
