If you pause the movie at 2:02, you will see the nose of locomotive 588X (the last number is not visible). It is the only identifiable locomotive number in the movie. By doing a little research, I was able to track the history of all SP locomotives with those numbers (5880-5889), with the exception of SP 5886. That's the only locomotive I couldn't find any information on (most likely because it was scrapped on site).
If you can find any information on SP 5886 (the locomotive I believe was wrecked in the video), it should tell you exactly when and where this was filmed. Just a suggestion.
