UP's will transition to "Precision Railroading" Fewer trains, fewer crews ,fewer locomotives.Trains will depart on schedule, travel directly point A to point B bypassing hump yards where possible. They will also be looking into selling off secondary lines like the coast line. Where other railroads have implemented it they are moving less cars and making more money.CSX just announced we are not looking for more volume we are looking to make more money.Shareholders are more important than shippers.
