I happened by nothing more than dumb luck to be there the two days they tried moving all three out. The biggest problem they had was caused by the bad ordered cars underneath the sand tower, instead of moving them they elected to go all the way down to the bottom end of the yard to get on the mainline, this ended up putting the 37 deep into a stand of a very greasy plants that robbed it of all traction. Took a log loader pulling on the front and a skidder shoving at the rear to get them back to dry rail. They did have a track crew that spent at least a week on the line before trying to get the locomotives out. The engineer did say at the end of the run the 37 might not have been able to get the other two out by itself.
