LASL San Pedro (UP) is being looked at as part of a proposed LRT line that would connect at the former PE/SP/UP West Santa Ana Branch Line, and head Southwesterly along the WSAB through Bellflower, toward a terminus near the 605. This proposed LRT line would be the second highest ridership for a newly proposed LRT segment, in LA Co. with an estimated 90,000 daily riders, or about equal to the Blue Line.

ML bought the SGV sub the former El Monte cut off from Anschutz, and never really looked at service on the SP Alhambra main.
