Every time I see a driver commenting on the subsidy per rider on transit I wonder if they have calculated the subsidy per driver on the roads. Less than half the cost of building and maintaining the road system comes from user fees. And yet they still complain about paying towards transit *and* paying towards maintenance of the roads.
