Trackage rights from U.P. West Colton along BNSF 3rd District to Orange County makes a lot of sense. Metrolink trains during the day would likely make this a nighttime move.
BTW -- Who was it that used to refer to " The Slauson Cutoff " ??? Someone in radio perhaps ???
