Without counting all the full well cars (and pay no attention to where I'm driving), the train at Fraser Mills, BC was the full length of one siding there plus about fifteen cars. I do not know the length of the siding there, but a full grain train can fit there (sometimes split for King Edward st.) Even a 130car Canpotex train with locomotives can fit without uncoupling. This train was longer than that, and given the Canpotex cars are what-45'?- would make it still about 90 well cars equivalent- plus fifteen on the next track. I passed the parked train going into Vancouver, and three hours later it was gone. There were some CN power on another track, but those were still there when the intermodal had left. I doubt CN moved that train, especially when they could have pulled it straight into Thornton themselves...
