A assuming anyone is interested in facts;
Baja California RR operates the old T & T on behalf of the state agency.
Mexico always wanted a Mexican operator for the line but instead go stuck with CZRY who mined sand from the ROW and used PSRMA (a non-profit) locos to do it till Mexico told them to stop.
Baja California has acquired rights to operate/open and fix up (deep pockets) the "East Desert Line" to Plaster City.
The ex Chicago Gallery cars were for a Tijuana commuter operation and to placate PSRMA with tourist stuff?
Some ex CZRY leased units are still in Mexico but it appears their owners have lost the cost/benefit argument.
SDIV (SDIY marks since 1980)operated freight on behalf of MTDB on their trolley lines. Long ago they did operate the line to Tecate after Kyle pulled out after Mexico put per car charges on through traffic. Ops to CZRY (only?) bidder.
