OK, I finally put my thinking cap on, and went to Safetran's signal catalog. The signal in question is either a Safetran Model V-20R, or a comparable model made by another manufacturer.
This link shows Safetran's signal catalog [.pdf format]. Scroll down to the Model V-20R.

For those readers not familiar with the signals, there are three separate bulbs with colored lenses in the signal head, in a "V" pattern. At the 10 o'clock position is the Green aspect, at 2 o'clock is the Yellow aspect, and at 6 o'clock is the Red aspect. Only one bulb at a time is illuminated (although I've personally witnessed
two bulbs lit up simoltaneously on two different occasions).
