Many moons ago, the Pacific Railroad Society had their annual banquet in the LAUPT Harvey House. It was an awesome environment, and they even showed the film Union Station, starring William Holden, which was filmed there. I look forward to downing a beer there on my next visit.
Trivia : The big stairway in the Harvey House was used in the Jack Nicholson film The Shining. Here's Johnny...
