Jim, as defined by the Urban Dictionary, Brian Peoples falls under the cyclist category of "Bike Nazi". Basically, this type of cyclist deems the bicycle as the superior mode of transportation. The mentality is all other modes of transportation are inferior. An acquaintance of mine is a bicycle taxi driver in Salt Lake City and has preached how our society needs to eliminate cars and trucks because everyone should utilize bicycles. I've argued with him that not all people can physically ride a bike, how can you expect to deliver the millions of tons of goods and equipment across the country on a bike? He insists we should develop human powered vehicles for all these needs, I guess this is utopian of transportation thought. I guess we can have peddle powered railroads!
