I guess you failed basic polisci.
No, it is not. Nazism, as practiced by the German party that misnamed itself the National Socialist German Workers' Party, is actually a far RIGHT (Conservative) ideology. Yes, the name of the party uses the word "Socialist" and sounds like some ultra left wing group, but that was marketing, not its ideological underpinning. They tried to appropriate the word Socialist, not conform to its common political meaning.
The Nazis were a socially conservative, ultra-nationalist, fascist movement. As opposed to traditional socialists, who are highly egalitarian, the Nazis were actually ANTI-egalitarian.
While it is true that both are against individual ownership of property / production, etc., a fascism, like the Nazis, holds that a superior group controls the state or nation and that superior group operates in a dictatorial manner. The state or nation, and by extension the superior group, controls property, production, trade, etc.
A socialism holds that individuals are equal (egalitarian) and that the community as a whole determines production, trade and holds property in common. (I am simplifying this, but that is the basics).
To say that Nazism is a LEFT wing ideology is a completely ignorant and flatly false statement.
