PVJR Activities Eric Temple

- Eric T: The Greater Brush Prairie Neighborhood meeting held on the 20th was
intense. He felt that the notification radius was too large. He felt that the proposed
use list included incorrect information. He believed that the community was
misinformed and afraid.

- He asked County Council Candidate Eric Holt about his opinion of the Railroad. Eric
read a statement that he understood to mean that Candidate Holt was proposing
that the Railroad should be pulled up and made into a trail.

- Eric Holt: The intent was to have a protected green space, for Rail & Trail. Feedback
from the community agrees. People want the trail system that was promised.

- More discussion about the map and community notification.

- Eric T: There is a tremendous need for commercial space served by rail. We did a
track inspection, identifying places to purchase new ties, etc. Upcoming election
leaves an uncertain future, so he is debating his future investments. We submitted
the FRAP grant application, thanks to Amber.
