Lettuce

The pack of cut lettuce I bought yesterday up here in Washington State has a sticker on it that says:

Romaine: Yuma AZ & Imperial CA
Harvested after 11/27/18

Hopefully Imperial Valley farms are E. coli free.

I imagine perishables like fruit and vegetables are all trucked from CA to WA these days, right? I don't see reefers on the rails much. Probably faster than rail by at least a day.
