Arguably, some of the stuff they've given away has gone to far better homes, or at least places where the new caretakers have more time and resources to devote to stabilizing the items, or even restoring them. A lot of the stuff CSRM had they were never going to do anything with, anyway.

Much of it wasn't even that significant or even relevant; it was at CSRM from a time when their unspoken mission seemed to be to grab everything to prevent any other museums from getting it.

That era seems to be over. I hope.
