I think the folks who want a museum of [you name it] should fund it. For that matter, I think it's incumbent on those who favor a museum of something like model railroading to be sure the investment is wisely made. Unflrtunately, it doesn't look like this is the case with the Howell Day Museum. A good part of the seed money is being frittered away, or has been, in committee travel and perks and apparently consultants' studies that are yielding nada. See the non-appearing mezzannine display that was supposed to be in the main CSRM by now -- how much has been spent on this, with no result?

Rich, by the way, I've exchanged several e-mails with Getz on this and can only characterize his replies as evasive.
