If everyone is so concerned about wasting taxpayer money, why continue to fund an entity that will loose money and require taxpayer support throughout it's existence? The whole debacle is a waste of taxpayer money. Why is everyone in denial on this one? Is it about rail fans wanting to take pictures track side? Let go of it. Go up to Davis and watch the Cal.P. where there will be far more traffic volume. Taking five hundred cars off 101 a day is not going to do anything for the environment nor is it going to reduce traffic congestion with everybody trying to use the same piece of road at the same time. For those of you that are not familiar with the area, the trains do not run through the majestic redwoods. It's a sham. Yes it's a shame too.
