IIRC there was a really stupid play on Amtrak's part of not giving FDOT correct dimensions for a terminating train such that consists typically used would not fit without fouling adjacent streets. If that memory is correct, both sides are obfuscating after the fact.
Of couirse given the general buzz that Anderson wants to scuttle all LDTs anything making them more convenient for passengers is unlikely to be allowed.
