Emporium had roof rides at both the downtown and Stonestown stores. I'm leaning toward Stonestown for the train - it had more floor space. But both are possible - or maybe they had one in both places? In both places, you had to walk through the toy department to get to the rides ... and visit Santa of course.
Emporium downtown had a tall atrium with a glass ceiling, too, and like City of Paris had a big tree (mounted on top of the jewelery department cabinets. City of Paris' tree was bigger and fancier, though, which matched the pricing of everything...
Macys' toy dept one year had a huge Marklin train layout. I must have spent an hour staring at everything while some other shopping got done by the grownups.
I vaguely recall another store sharing the block with City of Paris. Can't remember the name, though, and it vanished long before CoP died and was replaced by Nieman Marcus. The show windows some years had great Xmas dioramas. And remember The Emporium's show windows that you could walk all the way around (some faced the sidewalk and some an aisle behind, much like that department store in Harry Potter that was the "storefront" for the magical hospital.
