John F. Kirkland wrote several excellent books based on his experience as a Bay Area representative for Baldwin Locomotive Works. I have the privilege of owning several including Dawn of the Diesel Age and others devoted to specific builders.
I recall a discussion about exported equipment (including Baldwin gen sets in boxcars) as well as a photograph of an RS1 repatriated to the US via Baldwin's Delaware River dock south of Philadelphia. I don't know that he included an exhaustive list of equipment.
