Re: Derailment near Rowan on Tehachapi Pass

It was at Cliff. 40 track panels were needed for the main line and 3 or 4 for the siding. The siding was re-opened about 2 this morning, mainline was estimated to be re-opened about 8 tonight. Cause is thought to be a broken rail... with the weather changes we've had the last few days, it does not surprise me.
