So there will be no need for that stUPid analysis anymore?

I'm heading out to a community meeting on "road diets" where we no longer use stupid analysis, using stupid math, to do traffic "analysis". We simply need to "believe", and punish the "evil auto", and traffic congestion will magically "disappear"... All while my city is busy doubling our already congested downtown population with "in-fill" high end condominiums at almost a million a pop, with parking for two cars each, and generating an average of 14 trips per day per unit, 80% by auto....

Believing in the "faith based" "flavor of the week" and looking for the magic bullet, requires a lot of faith. Analysis doesn't require you to "believe", because with proper analysis, you find out what you actually need to know, and since you actually "know", you are able to act on that, instead.
