Be ready for a huge circus of people for the UP steam movements in Wyoming and Utah... Especially when the 4014 Big Boy is on the move as long as there are no unforeseen show stoppers.


As for SP 4449, last I have heard is the next planned outing in 2019 will not be until the annual Holiday Express train end of November into December. Myself, I wish that UP would include the SP 4449 in the Ogden celebration with the Big Boy and 844. But from the early announcements it sounds like it will be the UP steam locomotives only for the Ogden event. Unless there is some undercover miracle top secret planning being made for 4449 to go to Ogden like they did with the filming for BNSF last year, don't look for any operations until the end of the year.
