I thought they'd closed in the sides on many of the early racks with panels, before the ones with doors started showing up?

My favorite APW story, was cruising along at 70 mph.. past the dunes at Glamis, when we all hit the floor in the cab, while calling the special agents on the radio.

Some guy with a really big expensive RV, and about a dozen expensive motorcycles and toys, partying next to the tracks at the west end, was shooting rifles at the train, and the Chevy's on racks, along with his two junior high school aged sons... I guess he was teaching them "family values".....

I never got any word back to testify against these useless POS, or even to give a full report to the special agents, so I assumed these scummy spoiled little dick's and their "role model" weren't caught.

On the big holiday weekends down there at the dunes, the special agents, CHIP's, and Imperial County Sheriff's would quite often arrest a$$holes and morons who were shooting at the trains, and/or shooting out the lights on the signals ("target" signals????). And, they have had some "record breaking: weekends out there where they arrested "hundreds" for DUI's, both on and off road.
