Black Packard Limo jitneys

My first jitney ride from First/Mission terminal up to the Emporium at 5th Street was a black Packard Limo. They ran from Ferry bldg all the way to the Daly City limits. The drivers were mostly Armenian or Greek maybe, all friendly guys. Chrome change dispenser on the dash and SF Jitney operators badge on the visor. These limos had front facing seats and fold-up jump seats facing rear. They ran between the scheduled Muni Fagol electric twin-coach trolly buses. You took which ever stopped first. The Packard limos wore out and were replaced by Ford vans. Those were the days!!! Cal-P
