Thanks for that, and I can appreciate, that distance. I've even heard that at certain times now, that the traffic congestion (average speeds and capacity loss) up there on portions of the I-5 corridor is even worse than in LA...

I figured when I retired, that I'd be able to have "more time", to do more train chasing, "off peak", to places like Fullerton, San Berdo, or Cajon. But, after spending a good part of my second 25 year career planning for LA's future highway needs, I found that we'd "successfully" been able to eliminate our "unsolvable" "rush hour" only congestion problem, and managed to replace it with our "new" "improved" "unsolvable" "all day" congestion problem.....
