In Oakland off of E 11th St is a frozen food transportation company I think called Dreisbach. Its one of the last few Oakland customers the U.P. has and reliably had 3-10ish reefers outside for years but I don't think I've seen any for as long as a month. Are they no longer shipping by rail, maybe seasonal use only? While I'm at it the yard near the freeway at 3rd st (Desert Yard?) seems to have a lot of large Railbox Boxcars lately. Where are these going? I know the industries between the yard and San Leandro area and I dont know of any boxcar customers around there. There was a paper plant/warehouse south of the Coliseum that used to use them but closed about a year ago.
