Looks like nobody should try riding Amtrak Zephyr on Wed-Thurs-Friday. Big storm, 2-5 feet expected at pass levels, 70 mph winds on Wed-Thurs. Since it's only a 2-3 day storm (might get another foot on Tuesday night), UP will most likely just stop all trains and wait it out, then send out the contractors on Friday & Saturday to open things up. In the meantime, no Amtrak, no other trains. Whatever can get through by mid-Wednesday will be it until the weekend.
