Tunnel maintenance

Loosening and removal of partially loose rock from vertical and/or overhead surfaces is
major work, only for professionals. May require rock bolting.

Has CALDOT been performing this service, since their tunnels were first excavated?

If their engineers perform corrective action properly and fully, reopening may be sometime off.

Lining is recommended; also requiring closure.
