Council to discuss rail lawsuit

The Novato City Council Tuesday 10-14-2008 will continue discussion of a possible settlement in its lawsuit against the North Coast Railroad Authority.

The council also will consider whether to accept federal funding for a new substance abuse prevention program, hear a report on the Downtown Novato Business Improvement District, and discuss the next steps for the downtown Novato Theatre redevelopment.

The meeting begins with a closed session at 5:45 p.m. followed by an open session at 6:30 p.m. at the Novato Unified School District office at 1015 Seventh St.
