The Los Angeles Terminal Division had the "Wingfoot" job. It went to work at the old Wingfoot freight station on Slauson Avenue in South LA, where a high-hood Alco switcher was kept on a short spur. The Wingfoot job handled industrial switching on about eight miles of Harbor District mainline, from Redondo Tower (on the Third District main) to just short of Inglewood (near LAX). The freight station was named for the Goodyear Industrial District just across Slauson Ave., where many buildings were served by curving spurs. You can still see where the tracks were on Google satellite view, and I believe the track leading off the Harbor main that curved across Slauson can still be seen, rails in place, on Google streets. When I was a switchman for Santa Fe, right out of high school, the Wingfoot jobs (they usually ran at least two shifts daily back then) were my favorites when I could get one off the "show"-type extra board.
The above may be more than the original questioner wanted to know, but hey...
