While on my Australian R&R from Vietnam I managed to get a cab ride on double-headed AD60 class steam engines on a coal train from Gosford (north of Sydney) to Newcastle. It was an experience I will never forget - the sound of two 4-8-4+4-8-4 Garrets as they went in out of sync! The 6029 is the last operating example of these engines.
